CC Bars

We all love a sweet treat at any time of day. These CC Bars are made with all natural ingredients that you need not feel guilty for even having them in the morning. Plus, they can be made in 5 minutes and lasts a week in either the pantry or frig. CC stands for Chocolate and Coconut, which combines for the perfect flavor combination. So here goes…


½ cup creamy peanut butter (all-natural, organic is preferable)

½ cup honey

¼ cup coconut oil

1 tablespoon vanilla

4 tablespoons chia seeds

¼ cup cocoa powder

½ cup rolled oats

1 cup shredded, unsweetened coconut

Combine the creamy peanut butter, honey, and coconut oil in a saucepan over low high. Stir until the peanut butter is melted. Add the vanilla, chia seeds, and cocoa to the saucepan and stir. Remove from the heat and add the oats and coconut.

Press the mixture into a small square (2 quart) glass dish that is lined with either foil or parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. After 2 hours, cut into small squares. ENJOY!
